For banks that only give you a PDF
Your PDF statement, read and sorted for you.
Some banks only give you a PDF. Zedi reads it in the background, checks the statement against its printed balances, and lines the rows up for your OK like any other import.
Free to start · Read-only bank sync on Pro · Zedi never sees your bank login
What you get
Everything on this page is in the app today.
- Upload one PDF or a whole batch. Zedi reads them in the background, so you never wait on the page.
- Account type (checking, credit card, savings) and the sign of each amount come from the statement itself. If a sign comes out wrong, the printed daily balances fix it.
- Before you save, the statement is checked against its printed balances, interest lines included.
- The same PDF is never imported twice into one account. If the same rows show up later as CSV or QFX, they are counted once when date, amount and description match.
- Password-protected PDFs are caught up front, not halfway through. If a read fails, you can retry it from the saved PDF for 14 days.
- Ten PDF statements a month are free, resetting on the 1st. Pro or your own Anthropic key makes them unlimited.
Common questions
Before you sign up.
Where does the PDF go?+
To Claude (Anthropic) for extraction, with only the file and an extraction prompt. Anthropic does not train on API inputs and deletes them within 30 days. The parsed rows live in the Zedi database.
How long does it take?+
It depends on how long the statement is. Upload returns right away, and you can keep working while Zedi reads it.
What if it fails?+
Failed statements keep their PDF for 14 days so you can retry from the archive, and a batch that would need more scans than you have left fails right away instead of partway through.
PDF statement import, starting now.
Free at the core with your files. Bank sync is optional on Pro, and SimpleFIN bills its own $1.50 a month or $15 a year, plus tax. Export your data or close your account yourself in Settings > Privacy & data whenever you like, or ask by email.
