For people who won’t hand over a bank password
Your statements, imported. Nothing linked to your bank.
Download a CSV or PDF statement from your bank, or a QFX file, and drop it into Zedi. The file is the whole handoff: you decide what to download, and Zedi never sees a bank login.
Free to start · Read-only bank sync on Pro · Zedi never sees your bank login
What you get
Everything on this page is in the app today.
- CSV and QFX files import in seconds on our own server and are never sent anywhere as files; opt-in AI categorization shares store names, masked descriptions and rounded amounts with Anthropic. PDF statements go to Claude (Anthropic), which does not train on them and deletes them within 30 days.
- Every file waits for your OK first: fix a date, store, description or amount row by row, hide a row, then save one file or all of them.
- Import the same month twice and it is counted once: SHA-256 fingerprints for CSV, a file hash for PDFs and the bank’s FITID for QFX. Across formats, a row matches when its date, amount and description do.
- CSV from any bank, the PDF statement itself, or QFX and OFX from its download page. Pick the account per file, and later files check against what is already there.
- Sorted on arrival by 450+ default merchant and keyword rules, plus the rules Zedi can learn from your fixes. Turn on AI categorization, and one click has Claude sort what the rules miss: 50 rows a month free, unlimited on Pro.
- Rename a store once while you review, and Zedi can remember it for every future import, PDF statements included.
Common questions
Before you sign up.
Why not just connect my bank?+
You can, on Pro: Zedi syncs through SimpleFIN Bridge, which bills you $1.50 a month itself, and your bank login is held by its provider MX, or by your bank if it has its own sign-in page, so Zedi still never receives your bank password. A file is the smaller thing to trust, though: a statement export holds only what you chose to download, and nothing keeps standing access to your account.
How often do I need to do this?+
As often as you want a fresh picture; once a month works for most people. Re-importing an overlapping range is safe: duplicates are flagged and skipped, and you can include a flagged row on purpose.
Is there a limit?+
CSV and QFX imports are free and unlimited. PDF statements use OCR: ten a month on our key, resetting on the 1st, or unlimited on Pro or with your own Anthropic key.
Statement import without a bank login, starting now.
Free at the core with your files. Bank sync is optional on Pro, and SimpleFIN bills its own $1.50 a month or $15 a year, plus tax. Export your data or close your account yourself in Settings > Privacy & data whenever you like, or ask by email.
